Located on Lake Martin in central Alabama, the four-bedroom, one-and-a-half story house features furnishings from Universal’s Curated and Authenticity collections. Universal officials said the $1.2 million lakefront residence, provides Universal and its partners with many unique opportunities to connect with consumers.
“It’s an ideal time for our brand to create partnerships with consumer media at the national level,” said Director of Marketing Neil MacKenzie. “For the last two years, we’ve been making significant investments in our digital and print assets and those of our retailers, and the sponsorship gives us a platform to leverage them with consumers nationwide.”
In addition to furnishing the home, Universal will have a full-page ad in the July/August issue of the magazine, which has more than 11 million readers. And the brand will be featured in promotions on the Country Living website and in the publication’s digital outreach to subscribers.
“Being a part of the show house gives our retailers an inspiring resource to show consumers how Universal’s furniture works in a real home,” said MacKenzie. “We’re providing them with a dedicated landing page where consumers can shop the home and take a tour. This, along with additional online and social support, provides resources that can engage the consumer and connect them with a local retail partner.”
Lake Martin, a 40,000-acre lake two hours from Birmingham and 2.5 hours from Atlanta, is a high-end weekend haven for citizens of both cities. The show house grand opening party was held earlier this week, and the house will be open to the public from June 26 – July 9 for tours. To see images from the house, visit the Country Living website.
