Wright Global Graphics Moves to Larger Chinese Factory

Wright Global Graphics, a marketing services provider for the home furnishings, wine and spirts, and action sports industries, has expanded its manufacturing operations in China to accommodate increased demand for its extensive line of products.

The company said its new 32,000-square-foot factory is 52 percent larger than its previous facility, and will be at the forefront of the company’s growth in the Asian market.

While product manufactured in the China facility is primarily for the Asian market, the company said it will able to shift overflow orders from the U.S. as demand warrants.

“Over the last five years, we’ve seen a significant increase in orders from our Asian partners,” said Greg Wright, president and CEO. “The opportunity in the Asian market is tremendous, and the larger factory space allows us to increase our capacity and expand our capabilities in the growing marketplace.”

Located in Guangdong Province, the factory remains in the area’s Shunde District, one of the largest furniture wholesale market and distribution centers in China, and positions Wright Global Graphics in proximity to its growing Asian customer base.

The expansion allows the company to broaden its services to include weaving, finishing – both laser and hot knife – dye sublimation, embroidery, offset and flexo printing, as well as cut and sew.

The company employs 30 people in the factory, and Ron Wright, senior vice president of international operations, oversees the Asian arm. The company said he has spent the last five years focused on growing the Asian business spending a significant amount of time at the China facility.

Greg Wright said the company has also invested in its quality control team to ensure products meet its high standards prior to shipping to customers. Dongyu Zhou, who began working with the company’s High Point and Thomasville, N.C., locations, is quality control manager for the Asian factory. During his tenure in the states, he honed its skills on the company’s quality expectations.

In addition to the manufacturing operations in China, Wright Global Graphics has a sales office in Hong Kong led by Waiman Suen, managing director, and customer service representative K.K. Yip.
