Vanguard to Open Year-Round Las Vegas Showroom

High-end upholstery and case good producer Vanguard Furniture will open its first-ever West Coast showroom in time for the summer Las Vegas Market

The new 3,250-square-foot showroom, located on the first floor of the Las Vegas Design Center in Building A, will be open year-round. The space will be shared with luxury bedding and accessories supplier Eastern Accents.

“The addition of Vanguard’s first West Coast showroom at Las Vegas Market boosts our already robust collection of case goods and upholstered furniture suppliers, and is a strong indication of the furniture industry’s confidence in — and commitment to — Las Vegas Market,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing and chief strategy officer of International Market Centers.

“As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is dedicated to presenting the broadest possible product assortment designed to appeal to the widest selection of retail and designer shoppers.”

Vanguard President Andy Bray said the company is planning a “soft launch” of the new showroom at the summer market, which takes place July 30-Aug. 3, and will have a grand opening at the January 2018 show.

“We are excited for the launch of our first West Coast showroom in the Las Vegas Design Center and plan to keep it open daily on a year-round basis to better serve our growing retail and design base in the West,” said Bray. “Our collaboration with Eastern Accents in a combined showroom is unique.  It allows us to showcase a complete look and makes it easier and more convenient for buyers to shop.”

Separately, Eckman said eight other major case goods and upholstery resources have recently renewed their commitments to showrooms in Buildings A and B in advance of the summer market. These include solid wood furniture manufacturer A-America, in 6,930 square feet; case goods supplier Crown Mark in 19,474 square feet; Canadian upholstery manufacturer Décor-Rest in 9,984 square feet; upscale upholstery and case goods supplier Flexsteel Inds. in 35,898 square feet; sustainable wood furniture manufacturer Home Trends & Design in 8,869 square feet; contemporary bedding and upholstery manufacturer Lifestyle Solutions in 11,000 square feet; major upholstery supplier Palliser in 19,051 square feet; and custom upholstery supplier Skyline Furniture in 3,400 square feet.
