Jaipur Living Launches Inventory Sale to Prepare for HQ Move

As the company prepares to move into its new corporate headquarters and distribution center in Acworth, Ga., this summer, rug and home décor supplier Jaipur Living is staging a “moving sale” to clear inventory from its existing facility in nearby Norcross, Ga.

The company said buyers can enjoy deductions starting at 50% off an extensive range of products, including pieces from the brand’s premier collections and designer offerings such as Nikki Chu, Jennifer Adams, National Geographic and more. The sale includes rugs, pillows, poufs and throws.

“This moving sale is a first for our company, and offers a unique opportunity for customers to obtain premium Jaipur Living products at unprecedented price points,” said Michael Callaghan, vice president of sales. “It’s an exciting time, both for Jaipur Living, as we celebrate a decade of growth as a world-renowned lifestyle brand, as well as for our customers who will continue to enjoy our high-quality product offerings with constantly refreshed and curated collections.”

The company said it plans to move into the new $12 million, 180,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center by the end of the summer. A second phase of the project, expected to be finished in 2020, will boost the size of the facility to 350,000 square feet.

Jaipur’s total investment will be about $22.3 million, the company said.

With the move, company president Asha Chaudhary said she is seeking to “build an environment that attracts top talent who want to work with us and flourish in an engaging, creative and energetic space.” The workspace is designed for cross-collaboration among departments, and is loaded with additional features such as an exercise room, showers, lounges, a community center, and outdoor green space, she said.

“We wanted to design a space that promotes inspiration by reducing the raw elements to birch, concrete, and crisp white surfaces, and detailed with flavor from the rugs we are designing,” added Li Kurczewski, creative director.

Founded in 1978, Jaipur Living has been based in the metro Atlanta area for the past decade.

“Beyond positioning Jaipur Living for our upcoming relocation, this moving sale is also a way for us to express our genuine appreciation for the countless designers, customers, and employees who have supported us over the years, ultimately leading to this exciting evolution for our brand,” added Chaudhary. “We are so encouraged and excited for what lies ahead, and look forward to continuing to serve our valued customer base with more of what they want in terms of the high-quality product and leading designs they have come to expect from the Jaipur Living name.”
