Relax The Back Inks Partnership with Pillow Kiosk Vendor

Fill Station Pillow, a kiosk that allows consumers to build a customized pillow, has become an approved vendor for Relax The Back, the nation’s largest specialty retailer of health and wellness products.

Relax The Back operates more than 90 franchised locations, and the new partnership with Fill Station Pillow allows franchisees to place a kiosk in their stores. The first two kiosks will open soon at stores in the Boston area, the company said.

“We are excited to begin our partnership with Relax The Back, which has an outstanding reputation in providing education and products that relieve and prevent pain,” said Vannie Morisey, director of business development for Fill Station Group. “Their mission aligns with Fill Station Pillow’s commitment to provide a fully customized, pillow that supports a healthy spine and eases head, neck and spine discomfort.”

Relax The Back and Fill Station Group, LLC, the franchisor of the kiosks, kicked off their partnership at the annual Relax The Back franchisee convention in Glendale, Ariz.

“As a specialty retailer of health and wellness solutions, we have partnered with many vendor resources and medical care professionals over the years to provide our clients with the highest quality ergonomic products.” said J.D. Nespoli, vice president of merchandising at Relax The Back. “We are excited now to include the Fill Station concept in our program offerings to help our clients achieve enhanced health and wellness through this unique, customized pillow program.”

The Fill Station kiosks were developed by Arthur Watkins, who owns Mattress Inn, a bedding specialty store in Spring Hill, Tenn. The custom pillows typically cost $25 to $150, and consumers can fill the pillows with any combination of super soft polyurethane foam, buckwheat hulls, shredded memory foam, shredded latex and/or goose down.
