Beautyrest, Mattress Firm to Operate Lounge at Kentucky Derby

Simmons Beautyrest and Mattress Firm are joining forces at this weekend’s Kentucky Derby festivities to create the Black Diamond Lounge, which will provide fans with neck and shoulder massages, shoe shines and refreshments to help visitors beat the heat.
The lounge, located just inside Gate 10 at Churchill Downs, also includes custom seating made from the Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress, which is sold exclusively at Mattress Firm.
Guests also can enter a contest by sharing images of themselves in the lounge on Instagram with the hashtags #GetYourBeautyrest and #KYDerby. The winner will receive a prize package that includes a Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress and Kentucky Derby tickets in a private box with a great view of the finish line.
The lounge will be open Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday’s race card features the Kentucky Oaks, a top race for 3-year-old fillies, while the Kentucky Derby will be featured Saturday.
