Adjustable bed and sleep products manufacturer Customatic has developed a marketing program designed to build awareness for its retail and distribution partners’ charitable causes sponsored throughout their communities.
The program, named Reach Out & Adjust Someone’s Life, allows Customatic to develop targeted brochures to educate and inform their customers of charitable initiatives they support.
The literature, highlighting specific charity events and fundraising opportunities, will be distributed inside each Customatic adjustable base carton.
“If our Reach Out & Adjust Someone’s Life program brings a call to action to just a few, it will all be worth it,” said Phil McCarty, managing member of Customatic. “At Customatic, we care about a lot more than just adjusting the way you sleep. Ultimately, we hope to adjust the lives of people less fortunate.”
Customatic will launch the program highlighting the Seena Magowitz Foundation, which has raised more than $8 million since its inception to support pancreatic cancer research.
Founded by former retailer Roger Magowitz, who recently joined Customatic as executive vice president, the foundation benefits research led by Dr. Daniel Von Hoff, physician-in-chief of the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen).
The company has been a supporter of the Seena Magowitz Foundation since its founding.
“With Roger now part of our executive management team, we couldn’t think of a more suitable way to welcome him aboard than by showing our continued support of the Seena Magowitz Foundation,” said Phil Sherman, managing member. “Roger has made a dedicated commitment to the foundation. This helps us demonstrate our commitment to him and the cause. The program helps us promote and connect with our customers’ philanthropic ideals, and provides a vehicle that helps spread the word to make the world a better place by raising awareness of their efforts in their communities.”
Magowitz added, “I’m extremely grateful to have this platform for getting the word out about the work to eradicate pancreatic cancer to a broader audience, and I’m thrilled the Seena Magowitz Foundation is the first charity out of the box for our Reach Out & Adjust Someone’s Life.”
