E.S. Kluft to Debut Mattress Line in Japan

Upper-end mattress manufacturer E. S. Kluft & Company, which produces the Kluft and Aireloom brands, will enter Japan with its first retail location with LACSS Advisors in Tokyo.

Kluft will be the exclusive mattress supplier for its new retail partner, and the partnership will also introduce the Kluft brand to major Japanese department stores.

“The Japanese demand for American-made luxury products is on the rise,” said David Binke, CEO of E.S. Kluft & Company. “This entry into Japan is very exciting for us, and we are confident that we found the right partner. LACSS Advisors understands the Kluft brand, and knows how to promote the luxury concept to the Japanese consumer, making them our perfect partner.”

The company will introduce five of its best-selling mattresses to the Japanese market including the Palais Vie de Luxe, Florencia, Milan, Hudson and Bryant. The products will retail from $9,150 to $40,600 – equivalent to about 1 million to 4.5 million Japanese yen.

“We’ve seen great success with our products in the international marketplace and entry into Japan will further strengthen our global presence,” said Binke.

Previously Kluft has expanded the company’s brands in 15 other countries, including Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Mexico, Panama, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the United Kingdom.
