Zollar Named to VP Post at Impact Consulting

In his new post, Zollar, who has worked for Impact Consulting since 2006, will facilitate most of the firm's retail performance groups. The performance groups consist of non-competing home furnishings retailers of similar size who meet regularly to share best practices and discuss growth strategies.

Zollar also will continue to provide retail consulting work and sales training.

"Tom's sales expertise and deep knowledge of the furniture retail landscape has been invaluable to our performance group members over the years, and I'm excited for him to continue in that role," said Bob George, president of Impact Consulting.

He also will continue to write the monthly “Coach’s Corner” column for Home Furnishings Business.

Before joining the consulting firm, Zollar worked at La-Z-Boy for 22 years in a variety of sales and sales management posts, and worked closely with the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries retail stores.

Earlier, he worked in sales at Kroehler Furniture.
