Contemporary furniture manufacturer BDI has promoted Vergil Arbuckle to the newly created position of sales business development associate.
In this new role, Arbuckle will be a critical liaison between the sales division and all the internal teams at BDI’s corporate offices. He reports to David Stewart, vice president of sales.
“Vergil will play a key role in enhancing communication between our external and internal teams,” said Stewart. “He will work closely with me and the other BDI departments in a variety of new sales initiatives, while also working to exceed our sales revenue and profitability targets for 2017 and beyond.”
Arbuckle has been with BDI for more than six years as customer service representative, where he grew and fostered relationships with consumers and BDI’s retail partners, supporting them from pre-purchase to final delivery. He also served as a liaison between the various BDI departments and retailers.
“I am excited to continue my career in the furniture industry with BDI, where I have had the opportunity to learn from great leaders and mentors,” said Arbuckle. “This position offers the chance to continue the strong relationships I have developed with an exceptional group of retail partners, while offering the opportunity to foster new relationships that will help BDI grow and become even more successful.”
