Retailer Boston Interiors has launched a unique collection of outdoor furniture and an eco-friendly paint line to bolster its sustainability efforts.
The outdoor furniture collection features painted designs, customizable in dozens of finishes and colors. These designs are made in the United States and will ship with a roughly a 4-week lead-time, the retailer said.
Other designs include modern styling with elements such as concrete resin, teak and woven.
“Our customers have been asking for outdoor furniture, especially in our coastal locations, so we’re happy to be able to fulfill this need for them,” said Stefanie Lucas, CEO of the seven-store chain. “We also see a need for more unique looks in this category, since more and more people are using outdoor spaces for entertaining on a regular basis.”
In conjunction with the retailer’s sustainability efforts and total design offering, Boston Interiors’ new paint collection is low-emission, uses recycled, chlorine-free packaging and other environmentally conscious practices.
The paint line, consisting of 128 colors, will be available to order in all stores and online and ships directly to the customer’s home.
“When our team is helping to design someone’s home, they often get asked about paint colors we would recommend, so we wanted to be able to help them. These colors compliment our furniture and make it simple for them,” said Lucas.
