Designer Libby Langdon will be gearing up for a very busy schedule at the January Lightovation Market in Dallas. Between showcasing the latest additions to her Crystorama Lighting Collection, welcoming buyers in the showroom, speaking at two sessions and presenting at the ART’s awards, Langdon’s schedule will be jam packed.
Langdon is launching new product to her current lighting collection for Crystorama and will be meeting and greeting buyers on Thursday Jan. 18 and Friday Jan. 19, in the Crystorama space 3503-TM at the World Market Center.
Crystorama president, Brad Kleinberg said “Libby is a wonderful lighting partner who truly has a keen eye for what’s up and coming in the design world. Her effervescent, upbeat personality shines through in her Crystorama lighting collections and we’re thrilled to be expanding those lines in January!”
Additionally, Langdon will be sharing her experience in the world of design during a playful interview with interior designers Corey Damen Jenkins and Robin Baron as part of their Bringing it Home discussion series. The interview will be held in the World Trade Center, 10th floor, 10085 on Thursday at noon. All market-goers are welcome.
During a presentation with designer Dann Foley on Friday at 1:30 pm at the Trade Mart 1st floor Koi Pond, Langdon will share insights from the male and female perspective on how they each started in interior design, began careers in makeover television and jumped into the world of licensing and product design.
“We will offer up business tips, branding ideas and promotional tactics and want attendees to leave with real information they can use to grow their businesses,” Langdon commented.
Foley said, “We want to talk about what worked, what were mistakes and what we’ve learned along the way. We’ll share it all, hide nothing and have a lot of laughs in between!”
As a member of ART, Langdon will also be a presenter at the 28th ARTS awards ceremony on Friday at 6:00 pm at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. This year’s awards are extra special to Langdon since she designs her lighting collections for Crystorama and they are nominated this year.
