Tupelo Market Plans 3rd ‘Mattress Mania’ Promotion

Market organizers said the market has quietly added more than 40 bedding manufacturers to its base of exhibiting companies in recent years, and the January event will showcase the largest number of mattress and bedding companies east of the Mississippi River.

“The Tupelo market’s Mattress Mania promotion offers more than ever before,” said Kevin Seddon, president of the furniture market.  “There is no doubt that Tupelo has become a leading showcase for bedding and we are working closely with our manufacturers to be sure and offer retailers plenty of buying specials and opportunities to learn about new and innovative products that can increase their bottom line.”

Bedding companies once again have been asked to develop “one-of-a-kind” show promotions to create “mania” in Tupelo.

Companies participating in the Mattress Mania promotion include Symbol Mattress, Restonic Sleep Products, Capital Bedding, Eclipse, Serta, Simmons, Cassady Closeouts, Mlily, Bed Boss, Malouf, Sleeptronic/King Koil of Texas, Emerald Sleep Systems and Brooklyn Bedding.

Serta, Simmons, Sleeptronic/King Koil of Texas, Eclipse, Restonic and W. Silver will be holding product demonstrations in building 4 each day of the market.

“We are confident that as many as half of our bedding companies will be added to this Mattress Mania promotions list in the next few weeks and we plan on posting those involved and their market specials on our website at www.tupelofurnituremarket.com/mattress-mania,” explained Seddon.  “Our bedding exhibitors want to be clear that the special pricing and programs will only be available at the Tupelo Furniture Market and they will not be taking orders by telephone prior to market.”
