Report: Cincinnati’s Leader Furniture to Close After 131 Years

Retailer Leader Furniture, which has been in business in Cincinnati for 131 years, announced this week it plans to close permanently, according to a story in the Cincinnati Business Journal.
Brothers Gary and Gerald Mallin, who have operated the store since 1974, said they decided to shut down the business because there is no successor in the family.
The exact date of the closure was not announced.
