Crate and Barrel Debuts Curated E-Commerce Marketplace
Home furnishings retailer Crate and Barrel has launched a highly-curated e-commerce marketplace offering consumers a broader selection of products based on the retailer’s merchandising expertise.
Available via the company's e-commerce site, crateandbarrel.com, the marketplace now offers customers an extended aisle of unique products, including curated products from new brands; new products from existing brands; additional product categories that complement Crate and Barrel's existing products; exclusive products only available on the Crate and Barrel Exclusive Marketplace; and one-of-a-kind, high-end products from designers around the world.
"Our goal is to enhance the moments that matter for our customers," said Doug Diemoz, CEO of Crate and Barrel. "By expanding our assortment, we will significantly increase the choices available to our consumers and offer them an extended aisle of beautiful, curated products from the best designers and manufacturers from around the world. All of the new products complement our existing product lines and uphold our commitment to quality, style, and customer service."
In creating, launching and maintaining the Crate and Barrel Exclusive Marketplace, the retailer has partnered with RevCascade, a marketplace automation platform that offers numerous advantages to retailers and the brands they carry.
Retailers use the platform to launch, operate and scale their own marketplaces, increase revenue, and enhance consumer loyalty. RevCascade will work with Crate and Barrel to create a seamless integration between the company and its vendors.
"We are thrilled to partner with such a renowned leader in the home space, and help Crate and Barrel broaden their e-commerce product offerings,” said Josh Wexler, co-Founder and CEO of RevCascade. “As an innovative retailer, Crate and Barrel is addressing the consumer’s need for a vast, yet curated selection of merchandise, which we believe will further strengthen their position in the marketplace."
