CV International Names Bill Smith to Key Sales Post

CV International, a Norfolk, Va.-based provider of freight forwarding, customs brokerage and international supply chain and logistics services, has named logistics veteran Bill Smith as vice president of business development and sales.
Smith brings more than 20 years of experience in international logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution and supply chain management. He will be based in the company’s Charlotte, N.C. office and will be responsible for company-wide commercial management, sales, and product development.
Smith has worked in several senior management roles for third party logistics provider Globe Express Services for the majority of his career. He began as a sales representative and most recently served as vice president of sales and led Globe Express Services’ U.S. sales team.
