Furniture First, Vaughan-Bassett, Ink Deal for Solid Wood Collection

Furniture First, a buying group for full-line independent retailers, said it has entered into an agreement with case goods manufacturer Vaughan-Bassett to handle the company’s solid wood Artisan & Post Collection.
The buying group already had begun urging its members to visit the Vaughan-Bassett showroom during market, and said the group’s digital media already had been updated to reflect the new partnership.
“We are extremely excited to have this opportunity to partner with Vaughan-Bassett. We look forward to a long relationship,” said Dino Cifelli, CEO of Furniture First.

"Several Furniture First members are successful at selling solid wood, and serving the higher end of the market, so partnering with them for our Artisan & Post bedrooms and dining rooms is a great way for us both to grow."
At market, Vaughan Bassett will be introducing two solid wood bedroom collections and its first solid wood dining room collection. Bassett said the introductions will more than double the size of the Artisan & Post division.
