Furniture leasing activity continues to intensify in advance of the Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market, running January 22-26, 2017, with more than 127,000 square feet of new showrooms, expansions and renewals signed since the Summer 2016 Market.
“Furniture leasing at Las Vegas Market continues to pick up steam, with top brands making new, renewed and expanded showroom commitments, further enhancing the Market’s already-robust furniture presentation,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of marketing and furniture leasing for International Market Centers.
Las Vegas Market continues to add a greater variety of furniture merchandise at a wide range of price points, with more than 50,000 square feet of new and expanded showrooms already confirmed for Winter Market. Newcomers include: Ivena International, a manufacturer of solid wood dining, living, bedroom and outdoor furniture, weightless mattress system supplier Levitation Laboratories, and Living M.
In addition to relocation and expansions a number of major suppliers have renewed their commitments for Winter Market, totaling more than 77,000-square-feet of showroom space. Returning powerhouse brands include: Canadian upholstered furniture supplier Décor-Rest, with a 9,984-square-foot showroom on A5; leather furniture maker Violino, returning to a 13,352-square-foot location on B8; and global transitional and contemporary furniture supplier Sunpan, with a 14,704-square-foot space on B7.
