Bob’s Breaks Ground for New Connecticut Headquarters

Bob’s Discount Furniture broke ground Monday for its new corporate headquarters in Manchester, Conn., marking the official start of construction on the 103,000-square-foot building.
The new facility will be next to its existing headquarters and store on Tolland Turnpike.
To celebrate the expansion, members of Bob’s executive team were joined by Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy, Manchester Mayor Jay Moran and members of the Town of Manchester’s board of directors.
Also as part of the event and to continue their commitment to the Manchester community, Bob’s donated $50,000 to the MACC Snack Pack Program, which provides snack meal support to children at all elementary schools and the Bennet Academy in Manchester. Beth Stafford., Executive Director and CEO of MAAC and other members of the MACC Snack Pack Program were at the ceremony to accept the donation.
