New Tenants, Showroom Expansions Highlight IMC Main Street Properties

Several new tenants, as well as showroom expansions by existing tenants, will highlight the Main Street properties owned International Market Centers at this month’s High Point Market.

The showroom buildings – 300 S. Main, National Furniture Mart, Furniture Plaza and Plaza Suites – are contiguous, which makes them easy to navigate, according to IMC officials.

“With major new tenants Amalfi Home Furniture and major expansions for existing tenants like Kuka Home, the Main Street Properties are a must-see for October Market,” said Julie Messner, Senior Vice President for Furniture Leasing for IMC.” The enrichment of resources, variety of price points and walkability are icing on the cake – all great enhancements for buyers this fall.”

“The Kuka Home showroom has expanded to nearly 30,000 square feet,” said Peter Halunen, President of Kuka Home North America. “We are thrilled about the continued growth at Kuka Home and this showroom expansion allows us to display more of our product line and categories in a new and exciting way.”

Motion upholstery resource Amalfi Home Furniture moves to 300 South Main Street (Suites 100,102,103) in a new 14,000 square-foot showroom. New to High Point, Terrace Living joins the 300 address with a 10,000 square-foot showroom, while K-Motion is the newest tenant to show at Furniture Plaza with a 28,000 square-foot showroom on the third floor (FP 312).

Plaza Suites is home to newcomers Japaniture (PS 1-542A) and Sea Winds Trading (PS 1-419A). Major expansions include an additional 15,000 square feet for Kuka Home in Furniture Plaza (FP 614, 615); and an expanded showroom for Yutzy in National Furniture Mart (NFM 702).

Amalfi and Terrace Living join Cozzia, a bedding and mattress company, at 300 South Main. National Furniture Mart, Furniture Plaza and Plaza Suites are home to name-brand, popularly-priced lines, including La-Z-Boy, Pride Mobility, Jofran, Legends, Cozzia, Southern Motion, Man-Wah, England and more.

Officials said the buildings are easy to navigate with wide hallways, buyer rest areas and on-site amenities, as well as a covered, climate-controlled walkway bridge to the Commerce & Design building, which also is owned by IMC.
