Indoor and outdoor casual furniture and accessories manufacturer Palm Springs Rattan has lowered its freight rates for shipments going to dealers within the continental United States in time for this month’s High Point Market.
The company said this cost saving initiative, combined with quick special order and ship times, will help Palm Springs Rattan customers gain an edge on their competition.
“We want to put money back into our dealers’ hands and allow them to use the savings to invest in growing their businesses,” said Kerrie Jakubcin, the company’s wholesale division manager. “By consistently shipping well packaged, damage-free items, we have been able to negotiate with the leading carriers to secure lowered freight rates creating savings we can now pass along to our valued dealers.”
The new freight rates start at 7%. A container program is available for West Coast dealers.
The reduced rates will apply to orders that are $1,000 or more and are shipping from dock to dock or curbside delivery within the continental United States. The company’s High Point showroom is space 3555 of Showplace.
