Rugs America to Open New York Showroom in January

Rugs America plans to open a new showroom in New York’s Textile Building at 295 Fifth Ave., suite 1203.
The company said it is making the move in response to increasing demand from their “big box” customers to be accessible in a major metropolitan area, noting that Manhattan is a center for the home textiles industry, which bi-annually hosts the New York Home Fashions Market.
The new showroom is currently undergoing a complete renovation and is expected to be open for business in January 2017. Rugs America plans to formally unveil the space during the March 2017 Home Fashions Market week, where it will feature exclusive introductions to the company’s product line.
The company said it has continued to grow its business in the mass merchant arena in recent years, and the new showroom is one of many endeavors that it plans to undertake with the goal of further cultivating these valued business partnerships.
Rugs America also has a High Point showroom in space G-373 of the International Home Furnishings Center.
