David Stewart Named to Key Sales Post at BDI

Reporting to BDI President Lorri Kelley, Stewart brings 17 years of experience in sales and retail operations to this position. He will lead all sales efforts for BDI, overseeing account management, supporting product development and participating in the strategic direction of the company as part of the executive team.

Stewart will be transitioning into the role previously held by Director of Sales Steve Feldman, who is retiring at the end of the year after more than 16 years with BDI.

Most recently, Stewart served as Vice President of Sales and Operations for North America for upper-end leather upholstery resource W. Schillig, where he had a primary role in strategic planning, communication, and execution of the company’s mission, vision, and values. He was also engaged in market research, product development, strategic planning, and played a key role in establishing the design direction for the North American market.
