PROFITSystems Releases New Video Series Aimed at Improving Operations and Increasing Profitability
PROFITsystems, a HighJump product and provider of solutions for home furnishings retailers, has announced the release of a new educational video series in which industry consultant and expert David McMahon shares proven steps to improving retail operations and increasing profitability.
There are 10 videos in the series. One video will be released per week over a span of the next two months starting August 11, 2016. The videos cover a wide variety of topics including GMROI, inventory management, key performance indicators, cash flow, distribution management and more.
In each video, David McMahon discusses his experiences throughout almost two decades working with home goods retailers. He shares what he’s seen work, best practices, and how to implement step-by-step plans that make true business impact – whether it’s instituting an effective selling system, balancing expenses for increased cash flow, or maximizing inventory velocity.
“Since 1999, I have travelled the world helping home furnishings leaders improve themselves, their teams, and operations. I have gained tremendous insight from my experiences and, through this new video series, wish to share my knowledge with the industry,” said David McMahon, CMA, CSCP, EA, and VP, Consulting and Performance groups for PROFITsystems.
“I have been exposed to the best of the best, the worst of the worst, and everything in between. The overriding thing that I learned is that anyone can improve with the right attitude, belief, commitment, and education.”
“We’re thrilled to bring this unique resource to home goods retailers. If you’ve been fortunate enough to attend one of David’s market sessions or work with the PROFITsystems consulting and education teams, you know we’re passionate about helping retailers run a better business. We hope we will hear from many businesses as they implement these practices and see true results,” said Joanne Gulnac, General Manager.
