After more than 20 years, Ethan Allen has returned to Savannah with a new home for classic American design.
The company has opened its’ new Design Center in an upscale shopping center located in the heart of the city.
The new user-friendly design center, which opened its doors this week, features an open floor plan with design stations and large touchscreens. It’s an innovative display concept that represents a new direction for the 83-year old brand. "This is an Ethan Allen some people may not recognize," says the company's Chairman, President and CEO Farooq Kathwari. "The products are relaxed and attuned to today's lifestyles, and the technology on the floor is state of the art. The Design Center itself is located where our clients live and play, and just like any well-designed home, it has a place for everything, and everything has its place."
The Design Center displays hundreds of all-new designs in "shops" and inspirational room settings. It is the first Ethan Allen location to showcase all of its newest looks, including Buckhead, Santa Monica, and Brooklyn. Four experienced design professionals will staff the space to facilitate the creative process and help clients take the guesswork out of design. Offering both complimentary in-store and in-home consultations, the design team is always happy to help as little or as much as clients would like.
“Our new Design Center is only about a 10-minute drive from Savannah’s historic downtown,” says Ethan Allen District Design Manager Jennifer Massey-LaFrance. “We are excited to be back in the community and we know our new neighbors will love what they see.”
