Steinhafel’s Nearing Completion of First Phase of Warehouse Expansion Project, Hosts Job Fair

Steinhafel’s Furniture is nearing the completion of the first phase of a two-phase warehouse expansion project that's expected to boost employment by 650 workers companywide by the time the entire project is finished.

The first phase, which will add 104,000 square feet of warehouse space, is expected to be complete in October. Phase 2, a few years down the road, will add another 130,000 square feet to the distribution center.

The job fair is set to begin today from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Pewaukee, Wisconsin location. Warehouse positions include drivers, assembly specialists, forklift operators and unloaders. Steinhafels is also hiring sales associates and decorators at some of its stores, according to a company news release.

The job fair will be held near the store's main entrance in the education center.

Applicants should bring their resumes to the job fair or apply online beforehand at Steinhafels.com/careers. Computers will be available on-site. Managers will be present to answer questions about all open positions.
