Fine Furniture to Relocate Headquarters to Showroom

Fine Furniture Design executives picked up sledgehammers Monday to kick off a 10,000-square-foot expansion at its High Point showroom.

The company also announced plans to relocate its headquarters to the building once construction is complete. Fine Furniture’s current headquarters is located at 1107 N. Main St. in High Point.

The combined expansion and office relocation will produce multiple benefits for the company, said Eric Graham, president.

“With this new arrangement, we create the space we need to display the depth of product selection that clearly illustrates our broader design direction,” he said. “At the same time, combining both the showroom and corporate functions in one location is a much better use of company resources, and it creates greater efficiency for our team: The product will always be where we are.”

Once the construction is done, the showroom at 302 S. Hamilton St. will be nearly double the size at 24,000 square feet. The additional space will allow the company to showcase more product, including two case goods collections, additions to Protégé Upholstery and an updated approach to its accent and occasional collections at the Spring High Point Market.

“We are taking our products to the next level of design, materials and execution,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “And we are eager to share our next chapter with our customers in our newly expanded showroom in April.”

Fine Furniture marked the grand opening of the showroom during the Fall High Point Market.

“We’re excited about growing our business through this investment in our showroom and in new U.S corporate offices,” said Brian Ohlrich, president of Fine Furniture (Shanghai) Limited. “We have aggressive plans for new products in 2016 and beyond. This expansion reflects our commitment to High Point and to providing our customers with relevant and on-trend products with the quality and craftsmanship they have come to expect from Fine Furniture Design.”
