Ashley Furniture to Unveil Florida Facility

In May, the company announced plans for the facility located in the Centro Ybor shopping area of the city. The 70,000-square-foot facility will be home to executive, administrative, marketing, design and information technology employees.

A number of speakers will be on hand to mark the opening in the morning at 11, including Dr. Nido Qubein, president of High Point University; Ken Jones, CEO Third Lake Capital; Florida Gov. Rick Scott; Mark Dufresne, CEO, Ashley Global Retail; Ron Wanek,founder and chairman, and; Todd Wanek, president and CEO, Ashley Furniture Inds.; Jeff Vinik, owner of Tampa Bay Lightning; and Ybor City Mayor Bob Buckhorn.
