PBTeen, Pottery Barn Kids Team with Minted

Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen and the online art marketplace Minted have partnered to create an exclusive wall art collection.

The collection, to debut in the fall, will feature art created by Minted’s community of independent artists and will be designed for nursery, kid and teen rooms. The pieces will be available through Pottery Barn Kids and PBTeen stores and online.

“We believe in Minted’s mission to support independent artists and we’re excited to collaborate with Minted to give our customers access to exclusively designed art,” said Sandra Stangl, president of Pottery Barn Brands. “Our customers have a strong appreciation for art and a keen eye for design, and this partnership offers another way to inspire great design for our customers.”

From now through Feb. 18, artists from around the world are invited to submit works of art to the “Minted x Pottery Barn Kids & PBteen Wall Art Challenge” for an opportunity to be featured in the collection for baby, kids and teen. From Feb 19-29, the community can support the artists by voting for their favorite entries online to help Minted, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen select the works that will be produced and sold as part of the collection. The winning artists win upfront cash prizes and commissions on all sales of their artwork.

“Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen share Minted’s commitment to helping customers express their unique style and enabling independent artists to bring their creative visions to life,” said Mariam Naficy, Minted founder and CEO. “This unique partnership creates a new path to market that will bring independent art into chic nurseries, inspired children’s rooms, and discerning dorm rooms around the world. We are thrilled for the opportunity this creates for Minted artists."

This isn’t the first partnership between Minted and a Williams-Sonoma brand. West Elm has a collaborative partnership in place.
