NAHFA Creates Leadership Program for Next Gen
Next Generation members of NAHFA have the opportunity to apply and qualify for the new Leadership Immersion Experience program offered October 27-30 at the headquarters of El Dorado Furniture in Miami Gardens, Fla.
The two and one half day program, sponsored by STORIS, features an agenda developed to showcase the operations of El Dorado. Attendees will visit the distribution center, corporate headquarters and a local store. They will also have exclusive access to El Dorado executives and key staff members.
The association successfully the program last spring at the RC Willey headquarters in Salt Lake City. Jeff Child, RC Willey president, hosted seven retailers providing unprecedented access to his team and operation.
“This trip was the most valuable experience I have had in the home furnishings industry to date. I would jump at the opportunity to be a part of any other event or trip such as this one”, said Jordan Barrick, COO of Quality Furniture & Appliance of Mesquite, Texas.
“The Leadership Immersion Experience will be an amazing program for NAHFA’s young professionals around the country”, said Sharron Bradley, NAHFA’s CEO “Several best-in-class retailers have expressed interest for the spring of 2016 and beyond.”
STORIS is providing event materials for attendees and will help to grow interest through their channels and resources.
