Lazzaro Leather will introduce a line of UPS shippable accent furniture at next month’s High Point Market.
The line, named LEA, will target interior designers. The division will offer a 23-piece assortment of products, including metal and wood benches, bar chairs and stools, TV cabinets, lamps, occasional tables, bookshelves and serving carts. The initial offering will include industrial, rustic, casual and country designs, with pricing in the medium to upper-medium range.
All items in the introductory line will be stocked at the company’s 100,000-square-foot High Point warehouse and available for shipment to consumers within 48 hours. LEA products are being sourced from a variety of Chinese facilities with capabilities that complement those at Lazzaro's leather upholstery and occasional factory in Shunde, China.
"Our goal is to create a one-stop-shop of stylish products that work well with the Lazzaro Leather line," said Lauri Cryan, president of Lazzaro Leather. "With LEA, we're giving designers, e-commerce retailers and other customers an eclectic range of pieces that can be mixed and matched with our leather upholstery and accents in living rooms, bar areas and other settings within the home."
Designers represent a key target for the new program, Cryan said.
"Our designer business is growing rapidly - and we want to do all we can to support their mission to provide clients with fashionable, on-trend products,” she said.
To make it easy for designers to shop the Lazzaro Leather line, the company's High Point showroom is now available for viewing by appointment all year-round, Cryan said. "And we're also expanding our involvements with designers in other markets as well,” she said.
