Mattress Firm to Launch Online Donation Campaign for The Dream Bed

The “Buy a Dream. Give a Dream.” campaign will ensure one twin bed is donated to a child or family in need after customers purchase The Dream Bed. Registration for The Dream Bed early bird exclusive offer is available online today through Sept. 30.
“We set out to create a wildly comfortable bed at a great value that could be ordered online and shipped quickly,” said Ken Murphy, president of Mattress Firm. “Dream Bed customers will not only sleep better on their new mattress, but they will have peace of mind knowing they helped someone in need get a better night’s sleep and brighter days.”
The Dream Bed will come in two models, The Dream Bed Original and The Dream Bed Cool, which features a built-in cooling layer. Both versions will feature memory foam and latex foam interiors to provide a comfortable sleep experience.
A queen-sized Dream Bed Original will cost $829, while a queen-sized Dream Bed Cool will be priced at $999.
It will be delivered to most U.S. cities within two business days.
“By creating a convenient shopping experience and a way to give back, we believe the idea has the potential to resonate with a new generation of shoppers that not only demand better products, but a better world,” said Dan Dietz, vice president of digital for Mattress Firm, who leads an employee innovation team to advance the concept of The Dream Bed.
The Dream Bed will be donated in partnership with nonprofits across the country, and local community giving events are scheduled for October and November.
