ITMA Showtime Signs Long-Term Lease with IMC

Showtime is the largest decorative fabric show in the United States, and is produced by and for ITMA members. It’s held in High Point’s Market Square complex in June and December, and draws all segments of the home furnishings industry.

“IMC has been great to work with over the years and when the time came to make a decision, it was an easy one,” said Catherine Morsell, executive director of ITMA. “The consensus was to extend our relationship into the future. The Market Square complex, particularly the Textile Tower, is a known destination for our industry and our membership, and provides a level of consistency Showtime attendees definitely appreciate. It’s a great fit for us.”

The Market Square complex has been home to the Showtime event since 1990. 

“For buyers and designers, having a locked-in location for this premier event through 2020 enables them to plan their market schedules accordingly,” said Julie Messner, senior vice president of furniture leasing for IMC. “Truly, the commitment of a high-caliber event like Showtime is a testament to the strength of High Point. We couldn’t be more thrilled.”
