Simon Li Patents Captain’s Corner

Leather upholstery and motion supplier Simon Li Furniture has been granted a design patent for its power inclining corner wedge called the Captain’s Corner.
The design allows the corner seating area of a motion sectional to recline like other seats in the piece.
"With all the knock-offs in our industry, it is great to be recognized for innovation,” said Jackson Carpenter, president and designer for the company. “We are proud to be awarded the patent on the Captains Corner. With more patents pending, we are committed to being innovative and bringing new product to the market.”
The company has applied for additional patents on other product details and designs.
The Captain’s Corner power inclining wedge is available on a number of Simon Li MotionMax sectionals.
