Art Van Furniture to Drop Paul’s TV Outlets

Art Van Furniture will shutter its 19 Paul’s TV outlets by the end of May and replace them with Scott Shuptrine Interiors, flooring and a new contemporary strategy.

The home furnishings retailer originally partnered with Paul’s TV in 2010 for a store-within-a-store concept for consumer electronics. Recently, the companies announced adding exercise equipment to the merchandise mix.

Kim Yost, CEO of Art Van, said the changes are to meet the increasing demand for the retailer’s home furnishings business.

The space currently housing Paul’s TV will be converted into Scott Shuptrine Interiors, Art Van Flooring and a new Modern Living galleries.

"Transforming the Paul's TV outlets into galleries within our stores allows us to showcase more of our luxury brands, premium flooring and our new home furnishings business, Modern Living,” Yost said.
