Walker Edison Boosts Warehouse, Office Space

Walker Edison last year purchased their leased office and warehouse facility to begin an expansion program.
The expansion is a two-fold project, one that will see at its completion an increase of the company’s warehouse capacity from 30,000 to 40,000 square feet and a doubling of its office space.
The doubling of the office space, which will be completed thru renovating the building, will take the total space to 3,500 square feet. New design features include an open style main office, two additional management offices, an enlarged break room and a fully outfitted in-office gym with locker room and shower facilities.
“Over the previous two calendar years we have experienced double-digit growth,” said Brad Bonham, CEO. “To keep up with this growth and to prepare for future growth we need to have a warehouse to accommodate the increasing volume of product for distribution and the necessary office space for our staff. In addition to increasing our facility our goal is to make our workspace much more conducive to a collaborative and efficient, Live Outside the Box type work environment. The look and design of the new space reflects the idea that we are a progressive tech-like company that just happens to sell furniture.”
The new layout will allow the Walker Edison team to work together in a more efficient manner.
The expanded office and warehouse space allows for an aggressive growth plan and even better service, an attribute their customers have come to expect. The office renovations should be completed by mid-April.
