Wright Global Boosts Production

Wright Global Graphics has increased production at its Thomasville, N.C., manufacturing facility by 25 percent with the addition of 53,000 square feet.

The new building will house the company’s Showroom Solutions division, consolidate its cut, sew and embroidery operations, allow for expansion of its dye sublimation capacity and add 25 new jobs over the next year.

“This is a very exciting time for our company,” said Greg Wright, president and CEO. “More home furnishings companies are incorporating our innovative traditional and high-tech branding solutions into their marketing programs to help them stand out from the competition on retail showroom floors. As our business grows, so does the need for more space. Over the past year-and-a-half, our executive team has been looking for a place that will allow us to expand and better meet our customer’s time-to-market demand. This new facility will give us manufacturing while streamlining and consolidating our production.”

The company was founded in 1961 as Wright of Thomasville by brothers Bill and Tom Wright. Today, the company employs 192 people in four domestic facilities, as well as a plant in China.

“Our roots in this part of the state go way back,” Greg Wright said. “We are very dedicated to hiring local talent and providing the necessary training and support to help our associates build rewarding careers with our company and in the home furnishings industry.”
