Badcock Breaks Ground on Furniture Distribution Center

Home furnishings retailer W.S. Badcock Corp. has broken ground on its planned 535,000-square foot regional distribution center in LaGrange, Ga.
The center is expected to open in the third quarter of 2015.
Badcock’s $22 million investment in the facility will employ more than 100 people.
Designed to expand to 700,000 square feet, the center will replace two of the company’s existing facilities—one in Thomson, Ga., and one in Cullman, Ala.
The distribution center will be located on about 43 acres.
