Klaussner Home Furnishings Takes to Las Vegas Television

Klaussner Home Furnishings used a creative marketing approach to boost its Las Vegas Market retail traffic.

The company made a media buy through Cox Communications to run a television commercial that aired in 90,000 hotel rooms during the market. 

Len Burke, vice president of marketing, said the company wanted to be creative in its targeting home furnishings retailers attending the market.

The television ad has been running since Friday and will continue through Thursday. The spot is running on news channels, sports channels and weather channels — typical the channels out of towners tune into when traveling.

“It’s target marketing,” Burke said. “The commercial only airs in the hotel rooms. It has no play in the Valley.”

Burke said the move has been successful and many of Klaussner’s small, medium and large retailers have mentioned the commercial while in the showroom.

“We’re trying to think differently,” Burke said. “A lot of people who won’t come into the showroom this market will still see it.”
