Bob’s Discount Furniture Leases Chicago-Area Warehouse

The building, located in Shorewood, Ill., marks the 54-store chain’s first move into the Midwest. Bob’s lease of the newly constructed facility located at the intersection of Interstates 80 and 55 will begin in April.

“We’re delighted to secure this much first-class commercial space in such a desirable location,” said Bob Kaufman, Bob’s president emeritus and co-founder. “The facility will support our exciting expansion plans into the greater Chicago market.”

The warehouse and distribution center opens the way for the retailer to move forward with its plans to open stores in the Chicago market.
