Buckeye Win Means $1.5 Million Payout for Morris Furniture

The final score of 42-20 resulted in nearly $1.5 million in free furniture for consumers who bought a minimum of $1,999 or more in furniture, bedding and accessories between Dec. 17 and Jan. 1 from Morris Home Furnishings, its Ashley Furniture HomeStore or Better Sleep Shops in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, and Florence, Ky.

“What could be better than your favorite team winning the national championship?” said Larry Klaben, president and CEO of Morris Furniture Co. “Celebrating the victory with a house full of free furniture and mattresses. We wanted to create excitement, show support for our state, and give our customers an unbelievable offer they wouldn’t want to miss.”

Qualifying customers will be eligible to claim their rebates between Feb. 1 and April 30 with the completion of the “Official Big Game Rebate Claim Form” at the store where the purchase was made. Customers need the original sales receipt and a government-issued identification matching the name on the receipt.

“This is the first time our company has advertised a promotion like this,” said Rob Klaben, vice president of marketing and advertising for the retailer. “It’s exciting, it’s unique, and it’s a win-win for both our customers and Ohio.”
