Furniture Retailer Dies in Plane Crash, Daughter, 7, Lone Survivor

Marty Gutzler, owner of Nashville, Ill.-based Gutzler’s Furniture, died in a plane crash Friday evening in Kentucky.
According to the Associated Press, Gutzler’s 7-year-old daughter survived the crash with only a broken wrist and managed to walk about a mile for help.
Three other people were killed in the accident, including Gutzler’s wife, daughter and niece.
A fund has been set up for the benefit of Sailor Gutzler to “obtain the emotional, physical and educational support she will need in the years to come.”
