The move represents a significant increase in the company’s manufacturing and warehousing capacity and the expansion of its production of adjustable bed bases in the United States. The company will employ 30 at the site, with the ability to increase that number to more than 100 over time.
Reverie is beginning the domestic assembly of its bases with the company’s latest introduction, the 7S Supreme. Customers should benefit from faster turnaround times on orders and added customization capabilities. As demand and production for the 7S increases, Reverie expects to increase its staffing.
“The adjustable base business in the United States is rising rapidly as consumers of all ages embrace the benefits of this technology," said Reverie Vice President of Sales Ray Totaro . "This new facility enables us to be more responsive to our customers and get product to them more efficiently."
The 7S is the company’s most technologically advanced adjustable base on the market. Featuring built-in wireless and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities that introduce the concept of “bedroom automation” to the industry, the 7S gives consumers the most ergonomic, seamless bedroom technology experience possible.
Reverie’s mattress production and warehousing also will move to the Eden facility. Reverie had occupied two smaller facilities southeast in Silver Creek and Dunkirk, N.Y. Customer service offices will remain in Silver Creek.
