The 255 employees from the Long View factory will be joining Heritage Home's 450 employee currently working at the Lenoir factory, taking total employment there to 705. Bernstein said Heritage Home is looking to make capital improvements at the Lenoir plant.

"This is another sign of our commitment to North Carolina," Bernstein said. "This is good news for the area."

The transition will be completed by the end of the year.
