DwellStudio to Relaunch Brand with New Vendors

Home furnishings retailer DwellStudio plans to reintroduce its furniture collection in April with a fresh lineup of four suppliers.
The company had partnered with North Carolina-based Precedent in 2010 and launched its first upholstery and occasional table line in April 2011. The new strategy will allow the company, owned by Wayfair, to appeal to a larger consumer base with a lower-priced lineup.
Sofas from the Precedent DwellStudio line are priced online to retail beginning around $2,500. The retail expects that pricing to drop to between $1,200 to $2,000 with the four new suppliers.
DwellStudio will announce the four vendors at a later time.
