Bernhardt Furniture Creates Retail Boutique Concept

Bernhardt Furniture is rolling out a store-within-a-store retail concept for a select group of retail partners.

The Bernhardt Interiors Boutique program is designed to build on the energy and excitement of the brand’s eclectic, high-design Bernhardt Interiors collection. This program provides retailers the footprint to create a sophisticated presentation in a 2,500-square-foot boutique. To kick off the program, the company will showcase a Bernhardt Interiors Boutique prototype in the showroom at this month's High Point Market

“The most important thing we can do as an industry is to inspire the home furnishings customer,” says Alex Bernhardt Jr., president and CEO. “For some time, our retailers have admired the layered, curated look of our Bernhardt Interiors showroom, and the Boutique is a way that our partners can create these eclectic rooms for that customer."

The Bernhardt Interiors Boutique is a display concept featuring a comprehensive assortment of furniture, lighting, art, accessories and rugs that have been curated to work together. A detailed Bernhardt Interiors Boutique Style Guide specifies many of the best-selling items from the Interiors product assortment, along with a setting-by-setting guide of all elements needed to recreate the look on the retail floor. The company will also provide space planning services, hanging wall panels, fabric swatches and fixtures, marketing collateral, advertising and private sales events for participating retail partners.

The company plans to open boutiques with select retail partners on a rolling basis, beginning January 2015.
