CR Laine Expands High Point Showroom

Upholstery supplier CR Laine  has expanded its High Point Market showroom by about 5,000 square feet.

“CR Laine has grown dramatically in the last three years, and with the ever‐expanding depth of our offering, we really needed more room to show who we are today”, says Mark Gilmore, vice president of sales. “This expansion will add 50 percent more showroom to our current space, which will take us to over 15,000 square feet total.”

Additional enhancements include doubling the showroom design/work area and expanding the bistro providing guests a more comfortable visit.

Earlier this year, CR Laine finished a six‐month construction project to expand its manufacturing facilities by 42,000 square feet in order to accommodate growth. The expansion was motivated by the need to match increasing consumer demands and subsequent company growth.

CR Laine’s expansion and growth is beneficial to both potential new employees as well as

other companies in the community.

“From lumber, to steel, foam, and fabric; we want to

support domestic suppliers and source as much as we can locally,” said Warren Frye, president.

The growth has allowed CR Laine to continue to hire new employees adding more than 50 positions over the past year with several more positions still available.

The company will celebrate the new showroom space with a cocktail party Sunday, Oct. 19, from 4-7 p.m. All market attendees are invited to the party.
