HomeStretch to Add 60 Jobs with Expansion

Motion upholstery and recliner producer HomeStretch  will add 60 jobs at its Nettleton, Miss., factory with a 60,000-square-foot expansion.

Upholstered motion and recliner furniture manufacturer HomeStretch is adding 60 jobs to its Nettleton plant, officials said today.

The company, founded four years ago by Skipper Holliman and Gentry Long, is adding 60,000-square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.

“This expansion will facilitate our business plan over the next three to five years,” Holliman said. “Thanks to a solid product line and a highly dedicated workforce, we have enjoyed steady growth since our opening in early 2010. We remain focused on our build-to-stock strategy and will continue to exercise discipline as we take steps to respond to increased demand.”

After the addition of another production line, employment at HomeStretch will reach approximately 300, said Long, the company’s vice president.
