Lazar Closes in on N.C. Relocation

Upholstery supplier Lazar has started the final stages of completing its expansion to the factory in Siler City, N.C.
The additional production capacity will enable the company to shift all of its production to the North Carolina operation.
“Our commitment to our Western customers does not change,” said Robert Luce, president. “We began as a West Coast producer and our long term loyal Western customers will continue to get great product and service from our North Carolina facility.
Luce said the company has put together a number of programs to deliver quickly and affordably to its Western U.S. destinations.
The climate for upholstery production is more business friendly in North Carolina than in California, Luce said.
