Heritage Home to Move to High Point

Heritage Home Group will be relocating its headquarters to the former Drexel Heritage showroom on Eastchester Drive in High Point from St. Louis.
The company was awaiting approval by the High Point City Council on a rezoning motion, and that approval came this week at the board meeting.
The move is expected to add 300 jobs to the High Point area.
The rezoning of the building from trade showroom to general office space gives Heritage Home the ability to add more parking spaces to accommodate employees.
As part of the move, the company will be relocating its upper-end brands—Drexel Heritage, Hickory Chair, Pearson, Henredon, Maitland-Smith, LaBarge and Lane Venture—to a 120,000-square-foot showroom in Market Square.
"We are pleased to officially name High Point as the home of our corporate headquarters. I would like to thank the city council for their support in this process—we look forward to being part of the High Point community," said Ira Glazer, president and CEO of Heritage Home.
